Hong Kong Air Cargo in collaboration with Turkish Airlines

Hong Kong Air Cargo’s (HKC) recently appointed new Chairman, Mr. Yu Wenyong together with members of the management team: Mr. TC Wong, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer and Mr. Jeffrey Zhang got down to business straight away. The airline aims to deploy a more stream lined business strategy to ensure it remains on target financially despite fierce completion in the market place and an ever changing global (political and economic) situation.

Mr. Yu, Mr. Wong and Mr. Zhang met with Turkish Airlines (TK) Chief Cargo Officer Mr. Turhan Ozen and Mr. Vural Uravas, SVP TK Cargo Operations earlier this week in Istanbul to discuss a number of key support related matters including code share on long haul routes and optimal utilisation of aircraft.

Mr. Yu said, “We are greatly satisfied with the outcome of this important meeting between ourselves and Turkish Airlines. We are encouraged by the outcome and we look forward to further developing this relationship with a view to implementing support services to mutually benefit both airlines.”
